Generic AI advice doesn't survive contact with a real business. Here's where we've already put it to work, and where we're headed next.
Brokers and lenders still run on scanned PDFs, six versions of the same spreadsheet, and a folder called FINAL_v3. The opportunity isn't a chatbot bolted onto that mess — it's removing the mess itself: reading a bank statement the way an underwriter would, matching a deal across a lender panel automatically, and letting staff ask questions of your own documents instead of digging through folders.
Every parent and school is uneasy about AI and teenagers, and rightly so — most of what's on the market is a generic chatbot with a school logo stuck on top. The real opportunity is guidance that remembers a student over time, runs inside an environment built to be safe by design, and brings parents and staff into the same picture rather than leaving them guessing.
Guests book with whoever replies first, and a small front-of-house team can't be everywhere at once — chasing a booking enquiry, updating pricing, and keeping on top of reviews, all while running the desk. AI's job here isn't to replace the welcome, it's to make sure nothing slips through the gaps around it.
